Description
Parker FBP large flow compressed air treatment systems delivering Food, Beverage and Pharmaceutical grade (technically oil-free) compressed air for direct contact and in-direct contact applications.
Energy efficient heatless dryers with integrated dewpoint energy management systems provide a constant outlet pressure dewpoint of ≤-40°C, (≤-70°C or ≤-20°C optional) with flow rates between 408 m³/hr and 2040 m³/hr @ 7 barg, 35°C for a single bank, higher flows available with multi-banking.
Untreated or incorrectly treated compressed air contains large quantities of microorganisms. For direct contact and in-direct contact applications found in food, beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturing, controlling the growth of microorganisms is of paramount importance.
Parker FBP Treatment Systems are designed to deliver a constant outlet pressure dewpoint below -40°C PDP as this dewpoint provides control over microbial growth (a PDP below -26°C inhibits the growth of microorganisms, rendering them inert).
Parker FBP Food Beverage Pharmaceutical Air Treatment Systems also include an OIL-X high efficiency dry particulate filter with particulate removal down to 0.01 micron at an efficiency of 99.9999% to capture the inert microorganisms as a solid particulate.
The combination of a constant PDP ≤-40°C coupled with general purpose and high efficiency dry particulate outlet filters ensures the delivered compressed air is suitable for food, beverage & pharmaceutical direct contact and in-direct contact applications.
Additionally, the coalescing filters and OVR adsorption filter fitted as standard to Parker FBP models provide technically oil-free compressed air from both oil-free and oil lubricated compressors.
Using a Parker FBP Treatment System to deliver food/beverage/pharmaceutical grade compressed air for direct contact and in-direct contact applications significantly reduces the risk of biological, chemical and physical hazards, providing brand protection and more importantly consumer protection.
FDA Title 21 CFR compliant materials of construction (EC1935/2004 exempt) and 3rd party validated compressed air purity that meets and exceeds the requirements of BCAS BPG 102-1 (Food & Beverage Grade Compressed Air) and all other global best practice guidelines for food, beverage and pharmaceutical manufacture.
