Our configurable OpenLine systems scale to meet future needs. Open-channel UV is widely used by municipal utilities for wastewater disinfection prior to discharge. Units are installed horizontally in concrete or steel channels at wastewater treatment plants.
Systems disinfect municipal effluent so it can be safely reused or discharged to sensitive environments. Amalgam lamp technology provides energy-efficient operation, supporting water-scarcity goals and environmental regulations.

Optimized UV applications for Total Organic Carbon (TOC) reduction.
Total Organic Carbon is naturally present in source waters. UV is a highly effective step to break down and reduce TOC to produce ultra-pure water (UPW) for microelectronics. TOC-reduction reactors require special geometries and high-purity quartz that is transparent at short UV wavelengths.
Combined with high-intensity UV (medium- or low-pressure), our “Super TOC” lamps are engineered for high flows or PPB-level targets—using synthetic 185-nm UV lamps and quartz sleeves to cleave molecular bonds, form reactive hydroxyl radicals, and degrade low-molecular-weight organics.
Every system includes a UV intensity monitor to measure output and simplify performance monitoring and record-keeping.

Immersion emitters and in-line reactors for robust water hygiene.
Immersion emitters are ideal for disinfecting water storage tanks in humidifiers, air washers, and HVAC plants. By placing units directly in reservoirs or HVAC return tanks, process water is effectively disinfected, airborne microorganisms are inactivated, and biofilm formation on tank walls and wetted surfaces is prevented.
Additional water-purification options come from different reactor designs: pass-through (in-line) reactors mount in pipework and are sized for specific flows, while immersion emitters (e.g., TS 40) directly combat biofilm on tank walls while treating the tank volume.
