Description
Transair® Screw Type Beam Clamp tools are built for ease of use. They make modifying or installing compressed air, vacuum, inert gas, process water, or chemical transfer systems faster and simpler. In addition, the range includes pipe cutters, drill bits, deburring tools, and lugging tools. All tools are simple to operate and designed for long-term reliability. As a result, they provide years of dependable service and are a smart investment for any industrial piping project.
The system operates under specific pressure and temperature limits to ensure safety and long service life. For pipe sizes 1/2” to 4”, the maximum working pressure is 232 psi (16 bar) when operating between -4°F and +113°F (-20°C to +46.1°C). However, for larger pipe sizes 6” to 8”, the maximum working pressure is 188 psi (13 bar) within -4°F and +140°F (-20°C to +60°C).
The maximum working temperature also depends on pressure. The system can operate up to 185°F (85°C) at 101 psi or lower. It can reach 158°F (70°C) at 145 psi or lower, and 140°F (60°C) at 188 psi or lower. Finally, when operating at 232 psi, the maximum temperature is 115°F (46°C), which applies only to pipe sizes from 1/2” to 4”.
Therefore, these specifications confirm that the system delivers safe, efficient, and reliable performance across a wide range of industrial applications.
