The SUTO S452 Heavy-Duty Consumption Meter is designed for flow and consumption monitoring in harsh and explosive environments. With use of the build in thermal mass flow technology, the sensor measures volumetric standard flow over a wide measuring range. This results in being pressure and temperature independent, which provides highly reliable measurements.
Made For Harsh and Explosive Applications
The S452 is made for environments, where the sensor exposed to harsh external influences. With the NEMA 4X enclosure and IP67 rating, the flow meter can be used in all-weather applications.
All parts which come into contact with the measurement medium are made of 316L stainless steel. This allows applications in pharmaceutical and food industry, as well as the measurement of corrosive and contaminated gas. Installations in explosive environment can be done through the optional ATEX approval.

Various Gases Measurement Options
Various gases can be measured such as air, oxygen, argon, carbon dioxide, natural gas, hydrogen, methane, etc. Almost any gas mixture can be measured as long the mixing ratio and its components are known and constant.
Best Suited for Smaller Pipe Sizes
The Inline Type Flow Sensor comes is available in various pipe diameters from DN15 to DN80 (Thread / Flange). In comparison to the S450 Insertion Type Consumption Meter, the Inline Version is better suited for smaller pipe sizes.
