Description
LG SW 400 R G2
Industry-leading seawater RO membrane with balanced salt rejection and productivity
Features
- Superior salt rejection
- High boron rejection
- High permeate flow rate
- Improved fouling resistance due to thicker feed spacer
- Active Membrane Area : 400 (37) ft² (m²)
- Permeate Flow Rate : 9,000 (34.1) GPD (m³/day)
Benefits
- A combination of high permeate water quality and energy efficiency
- Meets high water quality standards with lower energy costs without reducing permeate quality
- Reduced CAPEX and OPEX for multi-pass SWRO systems
Applications

What is reverse osmosis?
Reverse Osmosis is a process in which pressure greater than the natural osmotic pressure is applied on the high concentration side of the membrane, forcing the water to travel through the membrane from the higher TDS to lower TDS chamber, thus ‘reversing’ the natural tendency of water flow.
LG Water Solutions, a business unit of LG Chem, manufactures NanoH2O™ seawater everse osmosis (RO) membrane elements based on the breakthrough Thin-Film Nanocomposite (TFN) technology.
Thin Film Nanocomposite (TFN) technology improves membrane performance by embedding benign nanomaterials on the membrane surface. This innovative approach increases flux in seawater RO membranes by up to 20% without compromising salt rejection.
