COMPACT SELF-CONTAINED MACHINE MOUNT ESP COLLECTOR

A big impact in a small space. Like our other SmogHog ESPs, the MSH is a self-contained mist collector that can be mounted directly onto machining centers or nearby using ducting. Oil and water-based machine mists, fumes, and smoke are drawn into the system and then sent through a highly efficient coalescing pre-filter and large ESP collection cell, with clean air recirculating back into the plant for a cleaner, healthier work environment.

Machine mounted mist collectors are the most cost-effective way to capture coolant smokes and mists because they capture the pollutant directly at or near the point of generation before it can migrate uncontrolled in the factory.

Our electrostatic precipitators (ESPs) have been cleaning the air and recycling machining fluids for companies around the world for nearly five decades. The SmogHog model MSH is a self-contained mist collector that can be mounted directly onto machining centers or locally ducted. Mists, fumes and smoke generated from oil and water based coolants are drawn into the system and then subjected to a highly efficient multi-stage filtration process including a coalescing pre-filter and ESP collection cell(s). Clean air is then recirculated back into the plant for a cleaner, healthier work environment.

How the Model MSH Works

Different than centrifugal, bag or box filters that remove only the largest particles, ESP electrically charges both large and microscopic contaminants, and then strips them from the air stream collecting on grounded collection plates. The resulting discharged air leaves virtually no oil mist, smoke or hazardous particle untouched, releasing only clean air from the system to help you comply with even the strictest federal, state and local environmental standards and keep your workers safe.

SmogHog technology ensures constant airflow, unlike barrier filters that can plug and become ineffective. Additionally, you will save operational costs with this technology, the ESP cells are washable, eliminating otherwise costly filter replacements and disposal concerns, making your factory cleaner and greener.
